Whether they’re capped, gathered, long or lacy, sleeves have become hard-to-find on wedding dresses, now that today’s trend seems to focus only on strapless and sleeveless. When one imagines a bridal gown with sleeves, sometimes the first images that come to mind are puffy, dowdy sleeves on an otherwise shapeless shift.
Not only are there several stunning wedding dresses out there with sleeves, there is also a wide selection of sleeve styles to suit several preferences and body shapes. As the following examples show us, wedding dresses with sleeves can be just as beautiful — if not more — than bare-armed bridal gowns.

The Ruffled Sleeve
As we can see from this gown, “ruffled” doesn’t mean the same thing as “puffy”. The ruffled sleeve looks exceptionally sweet on a baby doll-style wedding dress.

The Bell Sleeve
When worn with a flowered tiara, dramatic bell sleeves spell 70s flower child on this funky retro wedding dress.

The Lacy Sleeve
When combined with an off-the-shoulder gown, lace sleeves can create an especially elegant and elongated look.

The Capped Sleeve
Barely-there capped sleeves can show off your collarbone like a sleeveless or spaghetti strap number, and add a feminine touch of sheer fabric.

The Three Quarter-Length Sleeve
Three quarter-length sleeves elongate the arm and are still summery enough to be worn in warm weather. Rouching adds a unique touch to the arms and bodice of this three quarter-length number.

Who makes the first dress on this page, please?
